Junior Interior Designer

Job Detail

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and developing design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp to communicate design concepts effectively.
Develop presentation materials, including mood boards, renderings, and presentations, using Photoshop and PowerPoint.
Collaborate with the design team to select materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with project requirements and client preferences.
Conduct research on design trends, materials, and products to support project development and innovation.
Assist in project coordination, including liaising with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is accurately implemented during construction and installation phases.
Take initiative to learn new skills and software applications to enhance design capabilities and contribute to the success of the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A passion for design and a desire to continuously learn and explore new ideas and techniques.
