This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains our policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure and transfer of your information by Cubic Jobs (A Division of Cubic Solution)

Please read this Privacy Policy along with the Terms of Use linked separately to this website. Capitalized terms that have been used here but are undefined shall have the same meaning as attributed to them in the Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is applicable to persons who access, browse or use the Services (“User”). For the purpose of this Policy, wherever the context so requires “you” or “your” shall mean User and the term “we”, “us”, “our” shall mean Company.

As we update, improve and expand the Services, this Policy may change, so please refer back to it periodically. By accessing and using the Sites or otherwise using the Services, you consent to collection, storage, and use of the personal information you provide (including any changes thereto as provided by you) for any of the Services that we provide.

 

We respect the privacy of its Users and is committed to protect it in all respects. Any dispute with Company over privacy matters are subject to this Privacy Policy read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions. The information about the User as collected by the Company is: (a) information supplied by Users and (b) information automatically tracked while navigation (collectively referred to as “Information”).

1. Types of Personal Information collected by Cubic Jobs

“Personal information” (PI) – means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person including common identifiers such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person and any other information that is so categorized by applicable laws. We collect information about you and/or your usage to provide better services and offerings. The Personal Information that we collect, and how we collect it, depends upon how you interact with us. We collect the following categories of Personal Information in the following ways:

  • name, email address, password, country, city, contact number and company/organization that you are associated with, when you sign up for alerts on the Platform;
  • information that one would usually include in a resume, including name, contact details including e-mail address and mobile number, work experience, educational qualifications, data relating to your current and past remuneration or salary, a copy of your resume, etc. when you register on the Platform;
  • information about the services that you use and how you use them, including log information and location information, when you are a user of the services through the Platform;
  • we may collect your Personal Information such as name, age, contact details, preferences, etc. through surveys and forms, when you choose to participate in these surveys etc.;
  • we may also collect information relating to your caste and information about whether you are eligible for any affirmative action programmes or policies, if you opt to provide such information;
  • when you communicate with Cubic Jobs or use the Platform to communicate with other Users (such as partners), we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide;
  • when you visit the Platform, we use cookies to automatically collect, store and use technical information about your system and interaction with our Platform;
  • when you use a device to access the Platform, Cubic Jobs may collect technical or other related information from the device as well as the device location;
  • To the extent permitted by law, Cubic Jobs may record and monitor your communications with us to ensure compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations and our internal policies. This may include the recording of telephone conversations;
  • If you choose to sign in with your social media account to access the Platform, or otherwise connect your social media account with the services of the Platform, you consent to our collection, storage, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, of the information that you make available to us through the social media interface. Please see your social media provider’s privacy policy and help centre for more information about how they share information when you choose to connect your account.

    How collected data is used?

    1. The information as supplied by the users enables us to improve the Services and provide you the most user-friendly experience.
    2. In some cases/provision of certain service(s) or utility (ies), we may require your contact address as well.
    3. All required Information is service dependent and the Company may use the above said user Information to maintain, protect, and improve the Services (including advertising and personalization on the Sites) and for developing new services.
    4. We may also use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages about our Services and/or such additional updates and features about third parties products and services with an option to subscribe / unsubscribe (where feasible).
    5. We may share information as supplied by you with other companies and institutions for recruitment purpose and for different contests/events as conducted by cubicjobs.com
    6. We may, however, use your email address for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major changes, for customer service purposes, billing, etc.).
    7. When you register with the Sites or Services, we contact you from time to time about updating of your personal information to provide the Users such features that we believe may benefit / interest you.
    8. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit or use our Sites or Services. These companies may use information (excluding your name, address, email address or telephone number or any personally identifiable information) about your visits or use to particular website, mobile application or services, in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. We also allows advertisers and creators to serve advertisements directly, using Cubic Jobs own ad serving technologies.

    Children

    To use the Platform, you agree that you must be the minimum age (described in this paragraph below) or older.

    The minimum age for these purposes shall be eighteen (18), however if local laws require that you must be older for Cubic Jobs to be able to lawfully provide the services over the Platform to you then that older age shall apply as the applicable minimum age.

    If you are under the age of 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must use the Platform under the supervision of your parent, legal guardian or responsible adult.

    Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, institutes, advertisers, sponsors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

    Retention of Personal Information

    Your Personal Information will not be retained by Cubic Jobs any longer than it is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Information is processed and/or in accordance with legal, regulatory, contractual or statutory obligations as applicable.

    At the expiry of such periods, your Personal Information will be deleted or archived in compliance with applicable laws

Cubic Jobs uses reasonable security measures to help protect your personal data. Cubic Jobs intends to make your experience as secure as possible by protecting personal data covered by this policy against loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized access. We perform regular vulnerability assessments of our systems and network to help protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or method of electronic storage of information via the Internet can be 100% secure. For example, emails or other messages sent via your web browser, or resumes shared with employers may not be encrypted by the recipient. Where the security of your information is beyond our control, we cannot guarantee the privacy of such information.

Cubic Jobs reserves the right to update, change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. The Privacy Policy shall come to effect from the date of publication of such update, change or modification.
